One Big Happy

Best friends Lizzy (gay and somewhat type a ) and Luke (straight and more laid back) are like family. Once they were kids and both of the parents were becoming divorces, they stuck together, and they've been there for one another ever since. All grown up and still single, they have decided to start a group in their own. No, not like this (you can find some lines they wont cross) - we're talking the non-romantic,'' go-to-the-doctor's-office type of baby-making. Then one night, after yet another failed effort conception, both head out to a bar to let some steam off. That's where Luke and a girl who is slated to return into England at only a matter of days, Prudence meet. Lizzy isn't a massive fan - it might have something related to Prudence waltzing across their apartment nude - but Luke really hits it off with her... and the next thing he knows, they are spending every last minute of her small time together. But as Lizzy finds that she is pregnant, Luke declares that he and Prudence got wed. Tada! An alternative sort of family exists.
