The Marriage of Maria Braun

Near the conclusion of the World War II, Hermann, who is immediately sent off to combat is married by Maria. Maria believes that Hermann is dead, After the war finishes. She starts working at an bar, where she meets soldier Bill. They take up a relationship that is interrupted when Hermann yields alive. Throughout a scuffle between the men, Maria kills Bill.
