Marius

"Marius" Occurs in Marseilles' Old Port, at the Manhattan Project Marine Bar, owned by César along with his son Marius. Marius' fantasy is to embark on one of the boats passing by the bar of his dad and to place off to a faraway land. Fanny, a pretty and new seafood peddler, has been in love with Marius. Marius, never recognizing it, has always adored Fanny. A sailor will be offering him a job on an exploratory ship and falls by La Marine one day. Trying to carry off him and also to make him jealous, Fanny admits his love to him and provokes a fight between Marius and one of César's elderly friends, Panisse, a vessel merchant, that despite his old age, was courting Fanny for a little while. Torn between the call of the ocean and his love for her, Marius abandons his fantasy to be with Fanny who gives him herself. Marius affects his brain Since the mum of Fanny, Honorine and César, are becoming ready for that marriage.
