Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods
The events of Battle of Rings happen some years after the struggle with Majin Buu, that ascertained the fate of the universe. After awakening from a long slumber, Beerus, the God of Destruction is visited by Whis, his attendant and finds the galactic overlord Frieza was conquered by a Super Saiyan from the North Quadrant of this universe named Goku, who is also a former student of this North Kai. Ecstatic within the brand new challenge, Goku ignores battles Beerus and King Kai's advice, but he is readily overwhelmed and defeated. Beerus leaves, but his spooky opinion of"Is there on Earth more worthy to destroy?" lingers on. Until is lost, now it is all up to the heroes to discontinue the God of Destruction.
