Lightning strikes CSI Investigator Barry Allen after a freak storm is caused by having a particle accelerator and falls into a coma. He awakens with the strength of superspeed, granting him the means to move through Central city-like an guardian angel. Though initially excited with his own new found powers, Barry is astonished to find he isn't the only"meta-human" that had been born in the wake of the accelerator burst -- and perhaps maybe not every one is with their new powers permanently. Barry partners using S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent.
