Packed to the Rafters

Packed into the Rafters can be an Australian television show which premiered on the Seven Network on Tuesday 26 in 8:30 pm. The show has lasted on Tuesdays in this timeslot for its whole run. The play show includes a mix of light hearted humor stitched through the plot. It revolves around the Rafter family facing work pressures and life problems, whilst handling problems that are serious. Even the Logie award winning set was the highest evaluation and also the show has always been among the top five shows of this year during its run in Australia. This was announced in TV Week that the first season of Packed into the Rafters would be the last, together with Hugh Sheridan stating:"It is emotional letting go of Rafters -- for all of us. This was an remarkable chapter in Aussie TV. I'm really proud we all came back together to send it off." The two-hour series finale of Rafters aired on two which saw the return of Jessica Marais, Hugh Sheridan, Ryan Corr, Jessica McNamee and James Stewart. Rebecca Gibney said,"The cast, producers and writers have always stated that we wanted to maintain Rafters as one of the most-watched shows on TV. We had to end it on a top if we felt as though we were losing too many cast members. We can declare season six winds upward an component of the Rafter family and there's a sense of finality for this ."
