Obtain a Life can be just really a tv sitcom which has been broadcast at the United States on the Fox Network to March 8, 1992, in September 2-3, 1990. The series stars Chris Elliott like being a paper boy. Peterson lived in a apartment above his parents' garage. The opening credits portray Chris Peterson delivering papers on his bike into the show's theme song,"Stand" by R.E.M. The series was a generation of Adam Resnick Elliott and writer/director David Mirkin. Mirkin was of the show and also directed the majority of the episodes. Writers of the show included Charlie Kaufman, screenwriter of Being John Malkovich. And Bob Odenkirk, co-creator of both Mr. Show with Bob and David along with Tenacious D. The series was unusual to get a primetime sitcom, and lots of times the episodes' storylines were ravaged. As an instance, the character of Elliott actually dies in a dozen episodes. The causes of death included choking on cereal, falling from an airplane, strangulation, getting run over by cars, being crushed by a boulder era, tonsillitis gunshot wounds, and just bursting. It had been challenging for Mirkin and Elliott to find the series. Many of the executives at the Fox Network loathed the show and thought that it was too upsetting and that Elliott's personality was overly mad.
