The Roommate

After Sara, a design student from Iowa, arrives for faculty in Los Angeles, she is excited to fit in and get to understand the city. Her wealthy roommate, Rebecca, is eager to take Sara under her wing and show her the ropes. Both become close, but Rebecca becomes resentful if Sara begins to branch out and create friends on campus. Alarmed, Sara moves in with her boyfriend, causing Rebecca's behavior to take a violent twist.
