Could there be room for rule in la? Mike Terry teaches Ju Jitsu and barely makes ends meet. The family of his wife, whose, really wants to see Mike in the ring making money, but competition is degrading. A woman after a strange chain of events, shoots out the window of the studio and side swipes the car of Mike. Mike rescues an action picture star in a fist fight at a pub later that day. In return, Mike is befriended by the actor, gives a gift to him, offers him work with his picture, and introduces their own and the wife of Mike - business dealings are initiated by that the ladies. Then, things go sour simultaneously, the debts of Mike mount, and going in to the ring may be his only alternative.
