Tomoki Sakai (Kento Hayashi) is your typical junior high student. Fascinated by the diving abilities of Yoichi Fujitani (Sosuke Ikemaytsu), an elite athlete born into a family of former Olympic divers, Tomoki joins the Mizuki Diving Club (MDC), where Yoichi trains. However, the club is in the red, and its very survival is in jeopardy. Kayoko Asaki (Asaka Seto) has just returned from the United States and has joined the club as a new coach with the mission of saving MDC. Her ambition is for the club to produce an Olympic-caliber athlete. Shibuki Okitsu (Junpei Mizobata), a skilled diver with a wild streak from Tsugaru, is brought in by her. Meanwhile, Kayoko discovers Tomoki has a unique ability known as "diamond eyes," which inspires him to begin serious training. To achieve their goals, Tomoki, Yoichi, and Shibuki must overcome personal challenges as well as overcome conflicts and setbacks in sports.
