Cinderfella

It was Jerry Lewis' answer to the classic Cinderella story. Inadequate Fella is abandoned at the mercy of his stepmother and her two sons, Maximilian and Rupert, when his father dies. Since he slaves away due to his dreadful step family, Rupert and Maximilian attempt to get a treasure Fella's daddy has allegedly hidden on the estate. Meanwhile, hoping to reestablish her fortunes, the stepmother intends a ball in honour of the visiting Princess Charmein whom she expects will wed Rupert. Finally, the Fairy god father of Fella shows around convince him that he has a go at winning the Princess himself.
